Here are some headlines I picked up this morning (then I got tired of reading the news):
“Democrat Governor Vetoes Bill Protecting Kids From Irreversible Transgender Surgeries”
“Anti-Israel Protesters Block Traffic into O’Hare Airport”
“Unprecedented Trump Criminal Trial Begins”
“Anti-Israel Protesters Shut Down Golden Gate Bridge”
“Biden Campaign ‘Plans t Spend Every Day’ Until November Focusing on Abortion”
That’s just what I picked up in about ten minutes after I woke up and was still lying in bed. I was too depressed to continue.
Read those headlines and then answer the question that is the title of this article. There are some incredibly evil and selfish people in our country.
I do want to add a caveat, though, and one that I think is very important. For some reason, humans love to read bad news, so that is about all that is ever reported in the media. We hear the horrible things as noted in the headlines above, but we never hear about the literally millions of acts of kindness done every day by good people around the country. Joe Biden might even do a kind deed every once in a while. We hear the bad, we rarely hear the good. And that’s a shame.
So, yeah. There is much in America now that is very, very sick, and maybe even terminal. But let’s not let that be our only thought. Do an act of kindness for someone today yourself. Humanity is not totally evil.
