Another Reason I No Longer Watch the NFL
I gave up watching the NFL a few years ago when they went totally “woke.” Same with the NBA. I have no clue who is winning what and I don’t care. It was a little more difficult sacrificing baseball, because that has always been my favorite sport, and the Houston Astros have been “my team” literally as long as I can remember. I’m glad they finally legitimately won a World Series last year, becasue this year, I’ve given up the MLB, too, because of their support for queers. It is impossible to be totally consistent on who/which companies to support becasue so many have caved to godlessness and other woke causes. I do have to eat. But I do what I can. I don’t even know who is in the World Series this year, and it no longer matters to me.
Here is a recent headline that only confirms my opposition to the NFL: “NFL Boots Prominent Fan From Private Suite for Displaying American-Israeli Flag” There is a thing called “the First Amendment” in America—well, there used to be—and this fan has a right to show his support for Israel. But not at a football game in Philadelphia (where this incident took place). I bet if he had hung a pro-Palestinian flag, he wouldn’t have been removed. But the woke NFL won’t have its fans supporting un-woke causes. Terrorism is the order of the day. Watch and see if anything happens to that mob that rattled the fence of the White House. January 6 no; pro-Palestinian yes.
I will continue to not watch the NFL until it returns to decency, civility, and godly, American values. The above incident indicates the NFL has not changed. Thank you for that info, NFL. I’ll continue to keep myself occupied with other things on Sunday.
