August 20 “Mark It Down!” Weekly Report
There have been a few hassles in Thailand lately, nothing major mainly personal. I had to have cataract surgery this past week—age catches up with all of us—and that has been a little difficult to adjust to. Now I can see things far away and can’t see anything up close! Just the opposite what I had before. Still need some adjustments. And we’ve had some Wifi problems in our condo recently. Hopefully, they are cleared up now, but no guarantees.
Anyway, I have been able to send articles to Townhall.com and posted a few things on my substack. If you haven’t been in a few days, go over there and check it out. I hope, especially once I adapt to my new eyeball (I only have one I can see out of), that I’ll be able to be a little more diligent in posting things. I really appreciate your support in all things. I hope I am helping you some. If you can upgrade to a paid subscription, or make a one-time donation, or buy my cowboy books—any of that would really help. I hope my insurance company will cover some of my eye surgery, but insurance companies, as we all know, can be quite capricious. The eye surgery was certainly cheaper here than it would have been in America, but still, they don’t give surgery away for free anywhere. Except maybe for illegal aliens in America. Then you and I pay for it. It still isn’t free.
Anyway, God bless you all. I hope you can get over to may substack soon.
