I Hope We Aren’t Making a Humongous Mistake
This is all I'm going to say about this, I just want it on record
As I have already noted several times—and just published an article unequivocally stating that fact—I support Donald Trump for President this year. He wasn’t my first choice, Ron DeSantis was, mainly because I just happen to trust Mr. DeSantis’s conservatism a little more, and from what I have seen, he’s a better human being. I prefer that kind of President.
But Trump will be the Republican Party nominee, and, in every area, he is far superior to Joe Biden or any Democrat. But Mr. Trump has made many, many enemies, even in his own party. And much of that was done needlessly. We must be honest here. Mr. Trump is a narcissistic, an arrogant, self-centered man, and he doesn’t possess a lot of personal self-control. Frankly, some of those characteristics are probably what made him an incredibly wealthy man, but when trying to unite a country, they may not be the best attributes—at least not as visible as they are in Mr. Trump. Every politician is a self-absorbed, narcissistic backside of a horse; some of them just hide it better than others. Mr. Trump doesn’t hide it and doesn’t even try to.
Thus, millions of Americans hate his guts. Can he overcome that and win the Presidency this year? I don’t know; November will tell. I do know not to believe ANY polls right now because we are several months away from the election. March polls mean absolutely nothing.
I believe we had a good man running for President—Ron DeSantis. He isn’t perfect, nobody is. But he obviously doesn’t have some of the baggage Trump has, and he has many, if not most, if not all, if not MORE of the conservative attributes Trump has, and that America needs to survive.
But the Republican people are choosing Trump as their nominee. I hope, given whom we could have had, that isn’t a humongous mistake.
And I WILL support Mr. Trump this year. Make no mistake about that.
I just want this article on record.
