Jesus Was “Censored” Because the “Elites” Didn’t Like What He Said
Not much has changed in 2,000 years
God gives people freedom of choice. Humans can accept or reject Him as they wish. There would be no virtuous service if we were all robots. Thus, technically, God doesn’t “send” anybody to hell. We make our own choice as to our eternal destiny.
One of the ways humans today try to avoid the implications and consequences of God’s law is to tell others, “let God do the judging.” It is a fallacious argument, a dodge to try to justify what that person wants to do or believe. When God says, “X is wrong,” then X is wrong, whether I like it or not. He didn’t ask me, before He passed His ruling, whether I, or anybody else, approve of it. Right or wrong flows from the nature of God, not out of negotiations with human beings.
Thus, when I quote God saying “X is wrong,” I am not judging anybody. I am only repeating what God said. He has made the judgment about the activity, not me. Repeating what God said is not judging someone, it is simply...repeating what God said in the hopes of curing whatever evil is under consideration. In the hope that as many souls as possible will go to heaven. God, not me, decided that “X” is wrong.
Many “conservatives” have fallen into the Leftist trap on homosexuality, arguing that homosexuals are “born that way.” No, they are not. God didn't make anybody a homosexual. Indeed, he condemns that activity in no uncertain terms (read Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26-27; I Corinthians 6:9-11; I Timothy 1:10). If homosexuals are “born that way,” then God is condemning something He made. He doesn't condemn what He creates. Were adulterers and murderers “born” that way? God condemns them, too. Homosexuality is a choice, 100%, like adultery is. And it is an “abomination” to Jehovah. God said it, and that settles it. And He didn’t ask me whether I like it or not.
You can't go through God's word like it is a cafeteria where you can choose what you like and disregard what you don’t like. You accept what God says, whether you like it or not. He's God, you aren't. You are either with Him or against Him, there is no middle road.
Homosexuality is a choice, just like adultery, rape, incest, fornication, and every other sexual sin—indeed, every sin—is a choice. Thus saith the Lord. And to say that is simply repeating what God said, His judgment, not mine.
And “love” for another human has nothing to do with it. ''Love'' is no excuse for sin. If I ''love'' somebody else's wife and have sex with her, it's still adultery and a sin regardless of how much we might ''love'' each other. If I love the wrong person, I need to control myself and stop it.
Jesus—God in the flesh—was censored (in His case killed) because the religious leaders of His day didn’t like what He said (or did, or planned). Things have not changed in that regard in our present age. Most people today—leaders and otherwise—don’t’ like what God says, either, and they will do almost anything to censor it. People choose to accept or reject God, and there are consequences, eternal in this case, to both choices.
And the choice it totally ours to make.
