Lenin: “We Must Hate”
“We must hate—hatred is the basis of communism. Children must be taught to hate their parents if they are not communists...hatred is truly the beginning of all wisdom”—Vladimir Lenin

Here we have, from one of the masters of modern-day Leftism, one of their core beliefs—hatred. Hatred, of course, will cause people to do some very extreme things, in fact, is often the source of evils like murder and violence. And notice that it is not hatred to ideas that Lenin preaches here; it is hatred of people: “children must be taught to hate their parents if they are not communists.” This is truly evil.
The Bible teachers “hate evil, love good” (Amos 5:15), so hatred is not a foreign feeling to God’s people. But note the very important difference—evil is what we are to hate, not the person. Indeed, we are to “love our neighbor as ourselves,” and Jesus, of course, taught us to even “love your enemies” (Matthew 5:44). It’s not the people we are to hate, it is what they do! Admittedly, this isn’t always easy, indeed, it can be very difficult sometimes. But, it is a teaching that makes Christianity superior to all other religions and one which the child of God must strive to fulfill. Don’t hate the people of the Democratic Party and mainstream media; but hate what they teach and do. And “bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”
That isn’t what Vladimir Lenin taught, nor it is what Leftists today are doing.
We see the hate today among the Left—not just of what God’s people are teaching today, but of God’s people themselves. The Left is following Lenin’s teaching to its very foundation. Hate.
It can only be cured, if it can be cured, by a more powerful love. Sadly, most Leftists don’t want to be cured.
