The world was actually once more evil than it is now

        We obviously live in very wicked times now, increasingly degenerate over what it was a few decades ago.  But there has always been evil in the world and always will be until the Lord returns.  Sad, but true.

        Interestingly, our current evil isn’t the worst it’s ever been.  Read Genesis 6.  God destroyed mankind, though He apparently gave them 120 years to repent (Genesis 6:3).  Noah, a “preacher of righteousness” (II Peter 2:5), warned mankind, but could only save his family—eight people.  Get that.  There were only eight people faithful to God in 120 years of preaching.  We don’t know the population of the world at that time, but we can be fairly certain it numbered at least in the millions.

        So, when you look around and see the horrible wickedness and evil that is sweeping our planet today...
