The Death of Diane Feinstein
There is this unwritten rule that says one isn’t supposed to speak ill of the dead, so I won’t say anything about Diane Feinstein except that she passed away at the age of 290, or what seems like that age. People live, people die, some impact the world for good, some people impact it for evil. That is all I will say about Diane Feinstein because of the unwritten rule mentioned in sentence one of this paragraph. Feinstein is talking to God right now. It won’t be a long conversation.
From a political standpoint, her death means absolutely nothing. Gavin Newsom gets to name her temporary replacement, and he will doubtless choose someone just like her. A left-wing, America-destroying, California nut. Oops. Sorry. Not supposed to speak ill of the dead. But, the composition of the Senate will not change, and, in the long run, that is all that matters.
Good-bye, Diane. Good rid--...forget I almost said that.
