The Death of Jimmy Carter
He wasn't a good President or a good man. But we do owe Mr. Carter a "debt of gratitude"
Mr. Trump’s thoughts about Jimmy Carter are noble and I have no objection to what he said. Carter, of course, was not a good President, nor was he a good man. He was a Democrat all his life, and if he had been the good Christian he claimed he was, he could never have lived the last few years of his life as a member of that godless, anti-Christian, evil political party, a group that believes in murdering babies, mutilating children, homosexual perversion, and a thousand other ungodly things. No, I’m sorry. I don’t like to speak ill of the dead, but Jimmy Carter was NOT a good man.
The major “debt of gratitude” that we owe Mr. Carter is that he showed our country how NOT to be President. I’m confident that Mr. Trump will not follow in Carter’s footsteps. At least, I sure hope he doesn’t.
